About Us


We began in 1981 as a community-based pharmacy, Nash Chemists. In 2012 Firstline Pharmacy Limited incorporated Nash Chemists whilst retaining the latter’s trading name; obtaining our Wholesaler Distribution Authorisation the following year.

Since then we have steadily grown our wholesale operations via longstanding commercial relationships and the development of strong new customer and supplier partnerships.


In 2018 we launched the new trading name of our dedicated pharmaceutical wholesale and distribution operation, Firstline Pharma.

Today our senior management team has, combined, over 30 years of experience in the sector.


Our professionalism has won the trust of clients around the world and seen us expand rapidly, yet we retain the local, small-company approach that means every customer is treated as an individual.

Manufacturer Distribution Arrangements

We specialise in working with manufacturers to assist in the sales and distribution of their products in emerging or difficult to reach markets through utilising our trusted network of local partners.



Reference Listed Drug Supply

Reference Listed Drug (RLD) is an approved drug product to which new generic versions are compared to show that they are bioequivalent.

A drug company seeking approval to market a generic equivalent must refer to the Reference Listed Drug in its regulatory submissions.


Firstline can source and supply RLD’s as required (specific batches & expiries) on an international scale.


Unlicensed Medicines and Specials Supply

If a product without a marketing authorisation (MA) in the UK is needed, we are able to use our international network of suppliers to efficiently source the required products.


We actively seek to supply UK Hospitals and Pharmacies who may have requirements to fulfil prescriptions received by clinicians wishing to use an unlicensed medication for their patients.
